Retro games and my Android phone

Hello darlings!

Yesterday night i wanted to listen to only the audio of a youtube video. I and everyone else in the world hates that youtube pauses the video when the phone screen is off. Right?
I think this is completely unacceptable! I understand they just wanna make money with it, since you only get the feature to stream music while screen is off in the paid youtube version.

But for these cases I'm smart and i am a geek and my android phone is rooted and there is xposed framework installed, too! *ecstatic smile*

 Yes, its the pink Samsung note 4!!!

I know, its outdated, but i had a black note 4 and always really liked it for playing emulators on the big screen (5,7") and also really wanted to have it in pink. <3 p="">
I also need it as a tv remote, since it has infrared too. Very nifty.

 I ve put some high quality tempered glass onto it. Alas, there is no tempered glass containing small grains of glitter, for this model of phones. That would be so dope!


I decorated it with mere nail art stickers. That idea is from @momotokio (search for her on instagram and twitter) The stickers stick there surprisingly firm, even though they were very cheap from aliexpress. Great thanks to @Momotokio and greetings!


The little bow as a homebutton sticker is from ebay, its just 99 cents^^. I painted it with iridescent nail polish, because the pink shade didn't matched the phone at all, before^^

The little charm on the phone is very silly, i know! ^^

 Icons are from/made with Cocoppa and i use a Widget app with which you can make widgets from custom pictures. :-D



The wallpaper is from an earthbound (snes) screenshot and i edited the colors to suit my liking. <3 p="">

I also use various xposed modules, but listing them all is too much work, right now.^^


You can of course ask me everything.

I thought, I'm going to use this phone at night from now on, whenever i wanna have some audio for sleeping. This battery is cheap and easily replaceable, unlike the battery of my iPhone....

Here´s how i solved the problem that youtube wont let me play videos when the screen is off:

For me, the xposed framework module "YouTube Background Playback" totally worked! Thanks so much to the developer of it! Hers the link:

But normally i use this phone mainly for playing video games on the "big" 5,7" screen. A real gameboy screen was much smaller ^^. I like to play old super nintendo games, some old gameboy games, and also old point and click adventure games, too.
And yes, all these games you can play on your smartphone. It even doesn't have to be the newest device to work smoothly enough.

I use all the paid versions from the Johnemulators group, they are the best in my opinion.

I modded them to have nicer looking controller buttons, because i wanna have nice looking buttons :-D

ios Jailbreak!!!

Hiiii!

Ich habe ja zuletzt begeistert von meinem neuen Iphone geschrieben.

Wie ihr wisst, bin ich immer sehr darauf erpicht, meine Geräte stark anzupassen damit sie ein Design haben, das mir gefällt.^^^

Apple ios hat dazu eigentlich recht wenige Möglichkeiten und auch meine Custom Icons sind derzeitig mit Nachteilen verbunden.  (Web-urls, you know)

Jedoch kann man dem Abhilfe schaffen, mit einem Jailbreak. (Das ist ein Equivalent des rootens bei Android)

Zur Zeit tut sich unglaublich viel in der Jaibreak Szene. Kaum hatte ich mein Iphone, schon kam auch schon der Saigon Jailbreak heraus, der für ios 10.2.1 ist. (noch :)
Nun wird fieberhaft an ios 11 Jailbreak gearbeitet und auch an einem 10.3.3 Jailbreak.

Ich bin darüber ausgesporchen froh und ich habe es immer schon gehasst und abgeleht, wenn jemand die Jailbreak Szene für Tod erklät, wie all die Oberschlauen Leute aus den deutschen Iphone Foren.

Fast jeden Tag gucke ich nach Neuigkeiten bezüglich eines ios 10.3.3 Jailbreaks, denn das ist die ios Version meines Iphones.
Seit ich sah, dass Abraham Masri den Saigon Jailbreak um den v0rtex Exploit erweitert hat, welcher ja auch für 10.3.3 funktionieren soll, mache ich mir richtig Hoffnungen, dass er den Saigon Jailbreak bald auch für 10.3.3 Geräte anpasst und ich dann mein Iphone 6s Jailbreaken kann.

Ich kann Euch versichern, ein Jailbreak ist das non plus ultra der unzähligen Möglichkeiten des Customisieren, die es bei Apple leider sonst nicht gibt.
Es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten, dass ich sie hier auf keinen Fall zusammenfassen kann. Jedenfalls kann man damit dem Iphone wirklich ultracoole, unverwechselbare Individualität geben. Es gibt unzählige wirklich sehr schöne Tweaks die Euer UI zu dem schönsten machen, dass es gibt^^.

Natürlich gibt es Leute die sagen, Jailbreak würde das Gerät unsicherer machen und instabiler. Das stimmt nur teilweise. Auch das ungejailbreakte Gerät hat seine Ruckler, das ios so seine Bugs und eine Garantie für absolute Sicherheit und Privatsphäre habe ich da ja auch nie.

Man muss eben gut gucken welche Tweaks man installiert und im Vorfeld darüber etwas recherchieren. Es gibt einzelne Tweaks die sogar zu bootloops führen können und im allerschlimmsten Fall muss man das ganze Iphone neu aufsetzen und hat dann keine Wahl als es aufs neueste (nicht jailbreakbare) ios zu bringen.
Sowas wäre natürlich ungeheuer schade, deswegen sollte man etwas Vorsicht walten lassen. Allerdings passiert bei inkompatiblem Tweaks meist nix schlimmeres als dass das Springboard crashed und man im Safemode landet, das ist ein Zustand ohne Jailbreak in dem man die Gelegenheit hat, den inkompatiblen Tweak zu deinstallieren. Schon geht alles wieder reibungslos.
Das tolle ist, dass man wirklich eine große Zahl von tweaks auf dem Gerät haben kann, ohne das die die Performance spürbar in mitleidenschaft ziehen. Man sollte z.b. nicht zuviele graphische Tweaks haben, also z.b. sich bewegende Icons, diese und jene Bewegungseffeckte, zig kombinierte Icon transitionen und dazu noch fallenden Schnee auf dem Display^^ Da wird das ganze leider schon ruckelig und die einzelnen animationen ihrer schönheit beraubt.


Abgesehen davon finde ich es wirklich beeindruckend, wieviele Tweaks man haben kann, ohen irgendwelche Leistungseinbußen.

Eigentlich sollte Apple wirklich mehr von liebevoll gejailbreakten Iphones lernen. :)
Ja ok, vielleicht hat es das auch schon, kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich erst jetzt mein erstes Iphone habe.

Bedenkt zudem, dass eine Jailbreakbare ios Version den Wert des Gerätes stark erhöht!!! Es gibt viele Leute für die Iphone nur mit Jailbreak gut ist. (Und sie haben recht damit)
Dazu kommt das neueres ios Versionen wesentlich schlechter auf älteren geräten laufen, als etwas ältere. Grade ios 11 ist voller bugs, langsam und hat schlechte Akkulaufzeiten. Zudem ist es hässlicher als 10, wie ich finde.
Nunja, wenn man sich das Iphone X kauft, dann ist ios 11 halt ein Notwendiges übel, aber auf meinem schönen Iphone 6s will ich das nicht haben müssen. Dazu habe ich das Profil von TV ios installiert, seitdem tauchen keine lästigen Update Popups auf. (ich hatte ja Schiss, dass ich eines Tages ausversehen auf Update klicken könnte, da ich mal las, dass das jemanden passiert sei)
Wenn Ihr Jailbreaken wollt, bleibt auf der niedrigesten ios Version wie möglich, speichert shsh 2 Blobs und installiert das Tvios profil, damit es auch nicht von allein upgedatet wird. Wie Ihr das alles macht, kann Euch google sagen.
So schwer ist das auch nicht.
Außer für noobs und für Leute die alles gut finden, was Apple empfielt.^^

Ich werde niemals Leute nachvollziehen können, die ernsthaft lieber weniger Möglichkeiten vor vielen Möglichkeiten preferieren.
Aber ich gehöre ja auch nicht zu denen, die sich ein Iphone 7 kaufen und den fehlenden Kopfhöreranschluss auch noch gut finden^^. (Schlanker ist das Gerät dadurch übrigens nicht gewurden)  Und so wasserfest war es doch auch nicht, oder?

Ich bin mir 90% sicher, das es einen Jailbreak für 10.3.3 geben wird und das vllt schon bald.
Es ist unglaublich toll für mich, dass kaum dass ich ein Iphone habe, die Jailbreak Szene wieder zum Leben erwacht. Vielleicht hilft manchmal wünschen ja doch.^^

Dieser Jailbreak wird sich unglaublich toll darauf machen, ich werde Euch dann natürlich Screenshots zeigen und bestimmte Tweaks empfehlen.



Natürlich wäre ein Jailbreak gleich für sehr viele Leute ein sehr tolles Weihnachtsgeschenk und wenn ich so lese, was die Entwickler so twittert zur Zeit, dann kriege ich schon vorfreude!
